ABOUT PINETOP-LAKESIDE

The small Arizona city of Pinetop-Lakeside is often known as the “Hub of the White Mountains.” In 1984 the neighboring towns of Pinetop and Lakeside merged. Pinetop derived its name from a saloonkeeper’s nickname and Lakeside was named after the many lakes in the area. The 200+ miles of multi-use trails through tall pines, crystal clear mountain lakes and dozens of creeks and rivers that meander from mountain slopes are ideal for hiking, biking, and beautiful nature walk. An additional 60+ miles of trails are developed for motorized travel, an ideal way to enjoy the sunny skies of summer.
